Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of percutaneous nephrolithotomy lithotripsy(MPCNL) and minimally invasive open stone for the treatment of renal calculus. And to provides the reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of renal calculus.Methods170 patients with renal calculus were selected in our hospital. They were randomly divided into MPCNL group and open group with 85 patients in each group. The patients in the MPCNL group were treated with percutaneous nephrolithotomy minimally invasive lithotripsy, while in the open group with nephrolithotomy. The operation time, postoperative hospital stay time, the intraoperative hemorrhage, postoperative complications, nephrostomy tube indwelling time, stone clearance rate, renal function of both groups were compared.ResultsThe operative time, hospitalization days, after intraoperative bleeding and nephrostomy tube indwelling time in MPCNL group were significantly less than that of the open group, the difference were statistically significant(P0.05).The stone clearance rate and renal function index(postoperative blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine level) of both groups showed no significant difference(P0.05).The probability of complications in MPCNL group was 8.24%,significantly lower than that of the open group(21.18%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).ConclusionMPCNL operation for the treatment of renal calculi has the advantages of small operation wound, less bleeding, faster postoperative recovery, high stone clearance rate, less postoperative complications and other advantages,it is worthy of further popularization and application in the conditional hospital.
