Abstract
Objective:To improve the diagnosis and treatment of pheochromocytoma.Methods:From Jan.1990 to Dec.2000,33 cases of adrenal pheochromocytoma were diagnosed and treated.85 % of the cases had hypertensive symptom and 44 % were positive in VMA of the urine.Positive rate of diagnosis of B ultrasonography,CT and MRI were 97 %,100 %and 100 % respectively.Rusults:All cases have been verified by operation and pathology which 32 were benign and 1 was malignant.All tumor was originated from adrenal gland.Conclusion:Sufficient preoperative preparation and early operatin are very important.
