Diagnostic value of mammography in breast cancer in early stage

Objective:To explore the effect of mammography in the diagnosis of early breast cancer.Methods:33 early stage breast cancer patients were confirmed by surgical operation and pathology and diagnosed by mammography at the same time to analyse the relationship between the signs of X-ray and early stage breast cancer.Results:16 of 33 patients X-ray signs included mass with spiculate border and lobulate margins,followed by 8 cases of calcification like needle point,5 cases duct enlarge and 14 cases indirect signs.Conclusion:Clinic touch examination combined with mammography is very important to diagnose early breast cancer,especially mammography is necessary to the cases which were found nothing by clinical touching.
