Clinical Observation on the Effect of Prosthetic Reconstruction on Posterior Residual Crown Accompanied by Penetrating Floor of Pulp Chamber.

Objective:To investigate the prosthetic methods and survival period of posterior residual crown concomitant with penetrating floor of pulp chamber after complete treatment of pulp and root canal. Methods:The Patients,who had posterior residual root and/or crown that were suggested to be extracted,were randomly selected for this study. All Patients were treated with full or post /core crown half a month to one month after excellent root canal and pulp therapy and without any uncomfortable symptom. Results:The findings showed that successive rate accounted for 92% during a three-year follonr up study. Conclusion:Posterior residual root and /or crown with floor of pulp chamber penforated can be preserved for a relative long time after perfect endodontic or root canal therapy and reconstruction of dental crown.
