ON DENG XIAO-PING'S SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY THOUGHT IN HIS VIEW ON DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Deng Xiao-ping's view on development is the important component of Deng Xiao-ping Theory,and it is a complete and theoretical system that includes the development route,motive,key,mode,objective,strategy and supporting power of constructing the socialism with Chinese characteristics.Deng's scientific and technological thought is fully embodied in the system.The author makes a brief comment on it from four aspects: first,the key to development——science and technology is the first productivity;second,the motive and strategy of development——the modernization of science and technology;third,the mode of development——the creativity of science and technology;fourth,the supporting power of development——qualified scientists and technicians.Deng's scientific and technological thought in his view on development is of great significance for both the construction of socialist modernization at present and in the future.
