Abstract
Early fracture failure cause of the track coupling bolt was analyzed by comparison tests of used and unused bolts through fracture morphology observation,mechanical property test and corrosion resistance test.The results show that the high strength,high pre-stress and hot wet environment are the main reason to induce stress corrosion of the 42CrMo steel bolt and result in the delay fracture.In addition,some proper improvement measures were put forward to prevent early failure.
