Abstract
Liquid fermentation was carried out by using strain of Cordyces sinensis and Na2SeO3, and the resulted mycelia reached 25. 2 g/L and Se content up to 7. 90 × 1010 g/kg. Animal experimental results show that fermented Se-enriched mycelia, safe and of no toxicity, are more effective than Cordyces sinensis in such functions as anti-aging, oxygen deficiency tolerance and fatigue endurance, and can re-place natural Cordyceps sinensis.
