Analysis of Marx's Theory of Alienation and Lucaks' Theory of Materialization

Abstract

Alienation is a realistic problem of life and is also a core problem of the person's thought.Marx's theory of alienation and Lucaks' theory of materialization are different in the concept's connotation,the cause of alienation and the ways of mastering alienation.Marx differentiates the objection and the alienation,but Lucaks confuses these two concepts;Marx attributes alienation to the privacy and division of labor from human's development history,Lucaks believes that alienation only belongs to capitalism;In the ways of mastering alienation,Marx appeals to practice,but Lucaks appeals to the proletariat's awareness of individual being.
