Abstract

Objective To evaluate the image quality of 64-slice spiral computed tomography(MSCT)coronary angiography and its diagnostic value for detection of coronary artery stenosis. Methods ①The image quality of reconstructed coronary artery could be divided into five grades, and 100 images were used for evaluation.②32 patients underwent selective coronary angiography(CAG),then results of MSCT were compared with CAG.Results ①The image quality in proximal coronary artery is higher than that in distant artery and 83.6% of all arteries being evaluated.②The accuracy specificity and negative predictive value are high for MSCT in evaluation of arterial stenosis, especially in proximal coronary artery. Conclusion MSCT coronary angiography can be applied as an alternative non-invasive method to CAG in detection of coronary arteriopathy.
