Effect of Medicine for Activating Blood Circulation and Eliminating Stasis on Hemorheology of Patients with Acute Sports Injury of Soft Tissue

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) for activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis on hemorheology of patients with acute sports injury of soft tissue,so as to provide clinical evidence for TCM in treating sports injury.Methods: 40 patients with acute sports injury of soft tissue induced by sports were divided into control group and study group.All the patients were treated with Guyouling liniment,with which the injured site was rubbed;Besides,those in the study group were orally administrated by medicine for activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis.The hemorrheologic changes of the patients were observed.Results:Most of the hemorrheologic indices after treatment were decreased as compared with those before treate in both groups,and the ameliorations after treatment in the study group were better than those in the control group.Conclusion: The internal and external combined application of TCM for activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis can effectively decrease the blood viscosity,ameliorate the hemorrheologic indices and accelerate the tissue repair of patients with injury of soft tissue.
