Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics of immunophenotype in adult acute myeloid leukemia(AML) and its clinical significance. Methods Immune phenotypes were assayed in 113 patients with AML by flow cytometer. Results The nature of myeloid antigens showed in the level of positive rate: CD13CD33CD15CD14.The expression of antigen CD34 in AML patients was 35.40%.28 of 113 cases were found to express lymphoid differentiation antigens,CD7 expression was more pronounced in the sample, the positive rate was 71.43%,and CD19 expression was 35.71%.Comparison with Ly+AML and Ly-AML,there were significance in morphology of individual subtypes, clinical sign and CD34 expression, but there was no significance in abnormal chromosome detection rate. The complete remission(CR) rate of CD+34 AML was 69.23%,which was lower than that of CD34 AML(78.05%),but there was no statistic significant, the CR rate of Ly+ AML was lower than that of Ly-AML(52.94% vs 78%),among them, the CR rate of CD+7 AML was significantly lower than that of CD-7 AML(41.67% vs 80%,P0.05).Conclusion The data indicated that expression of antigen CD13 and CD33 in AML are high and some cases express myeloid and lymphoid differentiation antigens at the same time;there was a remarkable relation between expression of antigens CD34、CD7 and results of treatment.
