On the secular ethics in Yangming's theory of the Mind and its influences to the transformation and construction of Huizhou merchants' ethical ideas in the Ming and Qing Dynasties

There were such thoughts in the secular ethics in Yangming's theory of the Mind as the doctrines of‘the Good Knowledge',‘substantive and functions from one source',‘the everyday life of common people is Tao’, those of the public and the private, the Heavenly Reason and the human desires, solipsism, especially ‘the new view of the four classes’and‘behaving as a Confucian and dressing as a merchant’, which directly contributed to the transformation and construction of the moralities of merchants. These thoughts supplied the transformation and construction of Huizhou merchants' ethical ideas in the Ming and Qing Dynasties with the materials of ideas.
