Streaming Media is the technology to transfer information by stream on network. In recent years, with the broadband network' s development ar d customers' requirement, Streaming Media technology and its application gets more and more concern and it i s regarded as one of the most important applications. This article introduces the Streaming Media technology frcm the aspect of concept, main technology, network transferring protocol and application.
