The Value of Interleukin-6 and Plasma B-type Natriuretic Peptide in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome

Abstract

Objective Probe into the value of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and plasma B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) in diagnosis and therapeutic in acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods Choose 68 patients with ACS and measure their concentration of plasma interleukin-6 and BNP before and after PCI.Contrive non-ACS group 66 persons comparing with ACS group.Results The IL-6 and plasma BNP levels in patients with ACS were significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05).The difference of IL-6 and plasma BNP concentration between before and after PCI is Statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion IL-6 and plasma BNP concentration is closely related to ACS and can be as important indicators for diagnosis and treatment in ACS.
