Abstract
Most British romantic poets of the 19th century are poets and critics as well,who have not only created a large number of poetic works which won universal praise and left a good name forever,but also made considerable contributions to poetic theories.This paper,with an aim to have a comprehensive grasp of poetics by British romantic poets,intends to have an interpretation of the core propositions of romantic poetics.
