Design of Simulation Network based on Overlay Network Architecture

The increasing complexity of tactical communication network brings extremely great challenge to the operators in their rapid grasp and application of communication equipments.The establishment of simulation network and carrying-out of simulation training would be an effective approach for this challenge.This paper describes the characteristics of simulation network for communication training,as well as the three common implementations in establighing the simulation network.The advantages and disadvantages of each implementation are summarized,and based on this,a novel design of simulation network based on overlay network architecture is put forward.And in accordance with the typical application scenario,this paper describes the architecture,composition,design idea and system application of simulation network.Finally it gives the suggestion in popularizing and applying this simulation network.
