INVESTIGATION OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES OF RURAL HOSPITALS IN SICHUAN PROVINCE

[Objective]To investigate the current status and main problems of rural health human resource in county and township hospital in Sichuan,so as to provide scientific basis for innovating rural health human resource in Sichuan province.[Methods]By collecting and arranging the data,this study investigated the basic situation of health human resources. It researched on the health human resource in hospitals by questionnaires and in-depth interview method.[Results]The professional health workers per thousand people in three counties were 2.46,1.22 and 2.04,respectively;and the ratio of the senior to the middle to the junior professional title was 1︰9︰38;The workers without professional education in county and township accounted for 7.0% and 26.6%,respectively;62.8% of these staffs investigated thought that the main obstacle of attending training was that their hospital did not related arrangement,and 80.1% of the staffs were unsatisfied with their material treatment.[Conclusion]All the indexes of health human resource in counties and township in Sichuan were lower than the national average,and the construction for human resource in health centers was inferior to county hospital. When increasing the financial supports from government,efforts should be taken to strengthen the scale and time of training,and improve the level of health human resource in health centers.
