Tang Dynasty was period when novels began to be initiated. Influenced by the tendency of curiosity and fantasy,people were fond of composing,editing and spreading novels. As a result,fictions in Tang Dynasty enjoyed unparalleled prosperity. Novels in Tang Dynasty are not only high in quality and great in quantity,but also mostly have writers name on (or it is not difficult to identify their names). This is quite different from situations in other dynasties. By focusing on novel writers in Dang Dynasty,we can analyze their status and classification,to have a glimpse of cause of prosperity in Tang Dynasty.
