Abstract
Objective To study the whole course nursing methods for Alzheimer disease patients.Methods Eighty patients were investigated by using case-control study. Forty of them were recruited as the experimental group and executed psychological nursing, training of memory, intelligence, logistic thinking and activity of daily living, guidance of safe nursing and so on. The remaining 40 patients as control group were not intervened.Results Compared with control group, MMSE score was significantly improved and ADL score was significantly decreased in the experimental group after 1 year nursing intervention (P0.01,P0.05 respectively).Conclusion The whole course nursing intervention is effective in improving activity of daily living and retarding the progress of Alzheimer disease.
