Abstract

Confronted with the worrying status of English listening teaching in Higher Vocational Education,this article sets forth a strategy-based listening teaching model.It's not just aimed to improve the students' listening level by optimizing the teaching mode.More importantly,it is to develop the students' autonomous learning awareness and ability which will enable them to achieve the goals of life-long learning and sustainable development.
