On the Cause of Love Story Between Human and Ghost:Taking Legends of Tang Dynasty,Mudanting and Liao Zhai Stories as an Example

Abstract

From Wei and Jin Dynasties to Qing Dynasty,there are many love stories between human and ghost in note series,legends and novels.From the viewpoint of Sigmund Freud's idea on ghost and Carl G.Jung's mold theory,it can be concluded that these stories indicate human desires,which can be divided into four kinds: pursuit of perpetual love,punishment on the lewd man,awakening of feminist conciousness and man's aesthetical standard towards female.
