The effect of Kangshuaibaoxin decoction on NO and ET in blood plasma and patients with congestive heart failure

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Kangshuaibaoxin decoction on No and ET in blood plasma and patients with congestive heart failure.Methods 88 patients with congestive heart failure were randomly divided into control group,which was treated by routine therapy,and treatment group,which was treated by combination of routine therapy and Kangshuaibaoxin decoction(a dose of 300 mL every day).The therapeutic course was 3 weeks in both groups.The changes of NO and ET in blood plasma were measured before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate and excellence rate in treatment group(92.00%,54.00%)were higher than those in control group(73.68%,34.21%,P0.05).The levels of NO and ET in blood plasma after treatment decreased compared with those before treatment in both groups((P0.01)).There were significant differences of NO and ET between two groups after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Kangshuaibaoxin decoction has a good effect on congestive heart failure,and adjust release of NO and ET.
