Experimental Study on Production of Iron Concentrate from Pyrite Cinder

Abstract

A technology which is for the production of iron concentrate from pyrite cinder was studied in this paper.Under the conditions of pyrite cinder containing 51.56% Fe and 1.36% S,a concentrate of iron 60.66%,suphor 0.2%,with total recovery of 43.6% can be obtained from pyrite cinder by a combined flowsheet of magnetic-hydrocycloning separation after acid leaching.
