Abstract

Objective To observe the germicidal effect and safety usage of glutaraldehyde disinfectant,in order to provide reference for the actual use.Method Physical-chemical analysis and carrier quantitative germicidal test were used to test the related properties of glutaraldehyde in laboratory. Results The glutaraldehyde disinfectant consisted of 20 g/L glutaraldehyde and non-ionic surfactant and other helper constituents. The pH value was 6.77.Its content decreased by 3.86% after storing at 54℃ for 14 days. The carrier quantitative germicidal test showed that the killing logarithm of Bacillus subtilis vas.niger spore exposed to the solution for 60 mins was 3.0.The pH value decline of solution had serious influence on killing effect. The LD50 of white mouse acute toxicity test was 5 000 mg/kg·w.Mouse bone marrow polychromatic erythrocyte micronucleus test was negative. Conclusion The experiment showed that the germicidal function of potentiated glutaraldehyde disinfectant had good germicidal effect which was innocuous and had no effect of micronucleus and had stable function.
