Abstract

With Gaussian electron density profile of the femtosecond laser plasma channels, We modified the average electron density in the channel in Ref. 5. The results show that the average electron density of laser plasma channels is about 5. 48×1018cm-3,which is one time bigger than that of Ref . 5. Then with the conductivity of the plasma channel ,η=0. 76 Ωcm from experiment, the average electron density in the plasma channel was setimated to be ne=5. 20×1018cm-3. Therfore electrom density distribution in the femtosecond laser plasma channel is proved close to be Gaussian.
