Efficacy of Qingfei Zhijing Huoxue method for children mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung and its effects on blood platelet and D-Dimer

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) Qingfei Zhijing Huoxue Decoction combined with azithromycin for children mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia( MPP) and its effects on blood platelet( PLT) and D-Dimer. Methods Sixty cases were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,30 cases in each. Children in treatment group were treated with intravenous drip of TCM Qingfei Zhijing Huoxue Decoction combined with azithromycin, while children in the control group were treated with intravenous drip of azithromycin. Western medicine was given according to symptoms in both groups. The primary symptoms, secondary symptoms, syndrome score, laboratory indexes and total clinical efficacy were compared before and after treatment in two groups. Results The differences of total clinical efficacy,primary symptoms,secondary symptoms,PLT,D-Dimer and FIB between two groups were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion Qingfei Zhijing Huoxue method combined with azithromycin could improve and prevent hypercoagulable state and improve clinical efficacy in children MMP with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung.
