The growth-promoting role of KK-42 on Penaeus vannamei

Abstract

The shrimps,Penaeus vannamei(0.6～0.8cm) were treated by soaking for 40s in KK-42 at a concentration of 1.95×10-4 mol/L,and then bred according to the normal way.Samples were collected in each group,and the body weight of Penaeus vannamei was periodically measured during the process of cultivation.A significant growth-promoting effect of KK-42 on the shrimps was observed.The body weight at 90th day in treatment group was 42.5% higher than that of the control group.
