Abstract
The effects of dietary protein level on the growth of Penaeus vannamei had been studied. The experiment diet were composed of fish meal, soybean and equal mixed oil. The result showed that there were notable effects on the growth of P. vannamei with dietary protein level,(FF0.01=11.4), The P.vannamei had the fastest growth rate, the lowest feed conversion and the highest specific weight growth rate when the content of protein, C/P was 44.12%, 33 kJ/g respectively. The experimental results indicated that the optimum content of protein was 42.37% 44.12% with curve estimation and regressive analysis by computer. There were no notable correlation between the dietary protein level and the main nutrition component in muscle of P. vannamei.
