Abstract
Nano emulsion is prepared by semi-continuous emulsion polymerization process with styrene and butyl acrylate as hard monomer and soft monomer respectively. The influence of the type, formulation and amount of the emulsifier and the solid content of the emulsion to the emulsion polymerization process and the performances of the obtained emulsion film is studied. The results show nano-scale emulsion, stable polymerization and good performances if the SLS is mixed with OP at mole ratio of 2 to 1; the amount of compound emulsifier is 4% and the solid content of emulsion is 40% .
