Abstract

This paper reports a method for determining nickel content in catalysts supported on aluminum oxide prepared by Microwave electron cyclotron resonance plasma. The sample is dissolved in high pressure jar heated by drying oven, and analyzed by air acetylene flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The effect of the base used in determining the nickel content is carefully inspected. The recovery is 98.2%-101.8%, and the relative standard deviation is 3.42%.
