Abstract

Evidence system of the Central Government and that of the ethnic groups co-existed in southwest China in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,taking on a pluralistic feature.Meanwhile,the two systems tended to converge because of various factors.The lessons from the progress of evidence system in the ethnic regions of southwest China in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are of great referential value to the construction of a harmonious society in these regions today.
