Fusulinid Fauna near the Carboniferous-Permian Boundary in Shunchang,Fujian Province

Fusulinid Fauna near the Carboniferous-Permian boundary described in this paper was collected in 2007 from Shunchang,Fujian Province.The fusulinds described and illustrated here comprise 24 species referred to 8 genera.According to their geographical distribution and vertical variation in the strata,they may be grouped in ascending order into four zones:1)Triticites shikhanensis compactus zone,2)Pseudoschwagerina galatea zone,3)Sphaeroschwagerina sphaerica zone and 4)Eoparafusulina concisa zone.These zones can be correlated with fusulind zones near the Carboniferous-Permian boundary in South in China.
