Abstract
Objective To investigate the PTEN expression in the epithelial ovarian cancer and its significance. Methods January 2009-2010 June admitted 89 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer, selecting the same period 90 cases of benign ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue of 90 patients with SP immunohistochemical method for detection of PTEN.Results In normal ovaries group, benign ovarian tumors and epithelial ovarian cancer group the positive rate of PTEN comparison was significantly different(P0.05).Clinical stage epithelial ovarian cancer stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ and Ⅲ~Ⅳ positive rate of PTEN was significantly different(P0.05).Tumor grade G1~G2 and G3 PTEN positive rate was significantly different(P0.05).Conclusions PTEN expression and loss of expression in epithelial ovarian cancer for the evaluation of ovarian malignancy, metastasis and prognosis have significant clinical value.
