Abstract

The economy principle in language underlying in the speech communication is motivated by human beings'traits.On this basis,this paper examines the cognitive thinking models and finds that classical categorization theory,prototype categorization theory and thinking way of metaphorical association are characteristics of economy.Under these thinking models,the linguistic forms of the morphology of vocabulary and the argument of sentences are discussed to interpret people's tendency and to use this simple principle to enlarge language uses.To explore human beings'cognitive thought and expressive ways from the perspective of economy principle of language will shed light on cognition and development of languages,which will be rewarding to language acquisition and language teaching.
