Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical result between suppositories and oxytocin for cervical ripening and labor induction in term pregnancy. Methods The pregnant women in our hospital were selected and divided into control group and study group randomly. The Bishop scores before and after treatment, induction effects, mode of delivery and neonatal situation of the pregnant women in two groups were compared and analyzed. Results Compared with control group, the pregnant women in study group, the Bishop scores after treatment, the success rate of abortion and the total effective rate, delivery from spontaneous vaginal rate, the Apgar scores after birth of neonatal were increased significantly, while the inefficient rate of abortion and cesarean section rate was decreased significantly, the differences were significant statistically(P0.05).Conclusion Dinoprostone could promote cervical ripening, improve the success rate of induction of labor, reduce the cesarean section rate and improve the state of neonatal for fullterm pregnancy.
