Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria causing lower respiratory tract infections ao as to take effctive measures and to reasonably use antibiotics.METHODS The pathogens isolated from lower respiratory tract specimens were collected from the hospitalized patients in 2010,the bacterial identification and drug susceptibility testing were performed with VITEK2-Compact system,French Merieux.RESULTS A total of 924 strains of pathogenic bacteria were isolated with the positive rate of 31.5%.Most of the pathogens distributed in respiratory medicine department,ICU,NICU and neurosurgery department;the gram-negative bacteria were the predominant pathogens isolated, among which Pseudomonas aeruginosa accounted for 19.4%,Acinetobacter baumannii 15.9%,Klebsiella pneumonia 13.1%,and Escherichia coli 7.1%,Staphylococcus aureus accounted for 8.7%,and Candida albicans accounted for 19.3%;the gram-negative bacteria were susceptible to imipenem and piperacillin/tazobactam,gram-positive bacteria were susceptible to vancomycin, linezolid, and quinupristin/dalfopristin.CONCLUSION The gram-negative bacilli are the main pathogens causing lower respiratory tract infections, mainly distributing in ICU,with high drug resistance rate, the hospital should strengthen the detection of the variation of the pathogens and drug resistance so as to control the spread of nosocomial infections and reduce the drug resistant strains.
