Clinical Observation on Electro-acupuncture Plus Rehabilitation Training for Treatment of Urine Retention after Cervical Cancer Operation

Objective:To investigate treatment methods for reducing time of urinary retention after radical surgery of cervical cancer.Methods:Fifty-eight patients with radical surgery of cervical cancer were randomly divided into control group(32 cases) and treatment group(26 cases).The control group: indwelling urinary catheterization only until successful extubation.The treatment group: electro-acupuncture diuresis acupoint and rehabilitation training treatment(including pelvic muscles exercise and crede hand pressure methods) on the basis of indwelling urinary catheterization of one week until successful extubation.Record the time for indwelling urinary catheterization of the two groups and existence rate of two weeks urinary retention after operation.Results:Though there is no significant difference in indwelling urinary catheterization time,the treatment group reduced by an average of nearly two days.The existence rate of two weeks urinary retention shows significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Electro-acupuncture diuresis acupoint and rehabilitation training can reduce the time of urine retention after cervical cancer operation.Clinical treatment is effective.
