Abstract

GPRS is a new communication technology based on GSM mobile network.It can provi de comparatively middling or low data transmission speed.This paper illuminates the criterion and characteristic of GPRS,and brings forward the application of GPRS in SCADA system,then provides the structure of the system and the method of hardware and software designing of the system.
