Thinking on Improving the Quality of New-type Urbanization

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC,the new-type urbanization is not only the key point of economic policies,but also the engine for the future economic growth of China.To actively promote the development of the new-type urbanization and improve the quality of urbanization is a necessary requirement for the future development of our economy and society.To improve the quality of the new-type urbanization in our country,we should make efforts in the following aspects: first,the two-wheel interaction between industrialization and urbanization,and the coordinated development of urbanization and industrial structure;second,human orientation to promote the transformation of migrant workers into citizens and realize the balanced development of urbanization in quality and quantity;third,advance the building of socialist new countryside and promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas;fourth,adopt the way of intensive development to promote the coordinated development focusing on city groups;and fifth,strengthen the protection of ecological environment,and shift the emphasis of urbanization from economic development to the coordinated development of economy and society.
