Abstract

Advertisement writers employ rhetorical devices to delineate the features of products, which helps to create a good image and atmosphere for the products and thus enhance the persuasiveness and influence of advertisements. The rhetorical devices include metaphor, pun, parallelism, repetition, comparison and symbolism, etc.
