Abstract
Using the method of multi-body dynamics,it established a dynamically analytical model for a Double Wishbone suspension based on ADAMS software platform. The kinematics and elastic kinematics characteristics of the suspension systems were analyzed under the simulation test of parallel wheel travel, loading lateral force and loading longitudinal force, and the effects of elasticity of rubber bushes in the suspension on vehicle performance are studied. The results indicate that the flexible multi-body suspension model can effectively restrain the changing of the wheel orientation, the pitching and rolling of the vehicle than the rigid multi-body suspension model, and can enhance the handling characteristics of the vehicle.
