Abstract
By applying ADAMS,a mechanical system simulation software,a model of a FSAE car was established with a double wishbone front suspension. The kinematics simulation of the suspension was performed in ADAMS/Car.The change rules of suspension parameters were obtained while wheel traveling. Some hard points on the suspension were optimized by using ADAMS/Insight.The optimization results show that the kinematics characteristics of the suspension were improved.
