Abstract

Sensitivity of Plutella xylostella populations in Yangling, Shanxi Province, to several new insecticides wasdetermined by a leaf dip method. Plutella xylostella populations showed resistance ratios to avermectin, fipronil, acetamiprid,chlorfenapyr, indoxacarb, spinosad, and emamectin benzoate of 2.75, 1.65, 1.10, 1.27, 1.16, 1.14, and 1.32, respectively. Theseresults indicate that field populations of Plutella xylostella have no significant resistance to most new insecticides.
