Understanding on "the Combination of Theory and Practice" from the Rise and Fall of Socialism Cause in 20~(th) Century

The practical experience of socialism shows: if the leaders in socialist countries can combine the fundamental theory of Marxism with their national reality well, the development of Marxism theory and socialist cause will advance; otherwise, if they lose contact with their national reality, or apply Marxism with dogma in the process of the socialist construction, socialism will be faced with frustration. Betrayal of the fundamental tenets of Marxism inevitably results in the failure in socialist construction.
