Abstract
With the case study on Xuemeiyang farmland consolidation region in Changtai county, Fujian province, the engineering measures of farmland consolidation were analyzed. On this basis, an ecological sustainability evaluation index system was established which includes three basic indexes: (1) soil quality index which reflects the influence of farmland consolidation on soil structure, physical and chemical properties; (2) farmland infrastructure index which show the level of farmland basic construction; (3) ecoenvironment index which represents the changing and developing trend of agroecoenvironment quality. And then using the classification and synthesis evaluation method, we evaluated the ecological sustainability of the engineering measures in farmland consolidation region. The result indicated that these measures could enhance the farmland ecological sustainability obviously.
