Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical application of continuous VSD in the complex wound repairing. Methods 52 patients with complex wounds from March 2006 to March 2010 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,26 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional medication therapy while the treatment group received continuous VSD therapy, and the morphological conditions, time of Ⅱ period operation, wound area, dressing frequency and the total hospitalization time were observed. Results The wound healing time, time of Ⅱ period operation, the wound area after treatment, dressing frequency, total hospitalization time in the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P0.05).The complications in the treatment group were lower than that of the control group and there was no serious adverse reactions in the two groups and there was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The continuous VSD repairing the complex wounds can effectively reduce the wound healing time, reduce the wound area, improve the cure rate, and the clinical efficacy is good,it is suitable for widely using in clinical applications.
