The effects of insulin aspart 30 injection in treatment of type 2 diabetes

Objective: To evaluate the effect of insulin aspart 30 injection and novolin 30R prnfill in treament of type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Method: Sixty-four patients with T2DM were randomly divided into two groups: insulin aspart 30 injection group and novolin 30R prnfill group.After 12 weeks,the levels of fasting plasma glucose(FBG),2 hours postprandial glucose(2 hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),body-mass index(BMI),insulin dosages,frequency of hypoglycemia were compared before and after the treament.Results:(1) FBG,2 hPBG,HbA1c were significantly decreased in two groups(P0.01),but insulin aspart 30 injection group was associated with a significantly lower 2 hPBG,HbA1c than novolin 30R prnfill group(P0.05).(2) The frequency of hypoglycemia of insulin aspart 30 injection group was significantly lower than that of novolin 30R prnfill group(P0.05).(3) The level of insulin dosages and body-mass index of insulin aspart 30 injection groups was higher than that of novolin 30R prnfill groups(P0.05).Conclusion: Insulin aspart 30 injection can effectively decrease 2 hour postprandial glucose and frequency of hypoglycemia in type 2 diabetic patients.
