Ideas of Being an Official or Being a Hermit in Fu Works at Turn of Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty

Far before Jingkang Calamity of the Northern Song dynasty in years of 1126 and 1127,the official career of scholars was difficult for a great number of problems.After the calamity,the situation that the Southern Song dynasty was content to exercise sovereignty over a part of the country made them more disappointed.Under such circumstances,two different kinds of psychology of being an official and being a hermit were displayed in the Fu works.The literati paid more attention to the inward world of themselves while less attention to the national destiny.Therefore,there is a negative tendency in Fu works of that time.
