Abstract
Cell suspension cultures were established from the callus tissues which were induced from leaf,leafstalk and stem segments of Rosa floribunda.The result indicated that both leaf and stem explants were suitable for cell suspension.Friable callus was obtained when cultured on Murashige and Skoog(MS) medium supplemented with 4 mg·L-1 NAA,1 mg·L-1 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D),1 mg·L-1 6-benzyl-adenine(6-BA).The best origination density was 1.5×104-3.0×104 number·mL-1;after 4-5 generations of sub-culture,stable cell suspension was obtained.
