Abstract

The combination technology of ultrasound and stripping was adopted to study the removal of ammonia-nitrogen from dyeing wastewater. Effects of ammonia-nitrogen concentration of dyeing wastewater, ultrasonic time, ultrasonic frequency and stripping time on the degradation rate were investigated. The results show that removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen can reach to the highest when ultrasonic power is 100 W,ultrasonic frequency is 40 Hz, ultrasonic time is 20 min,and stripping time is 150 min.
